Despite the unique nature of our work, Almora Unlimited is run as a business entity. We therefore respectfully request that you adhere to the usual practices of good faith when entering into a contract with us.
Any booking resulting from an inquiry, whether confirmed verbally, electronically, or in writing, will be subject to these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are in place to protect both you and us.
You are responsible for ensuring that you are familiar with and comply with our latest terms and conditions before using our services. We are accountable for making these readily available to you.
To reflect the fact that our business is constantly evolving, Almora Unlimited reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions in whole or in part from time to time. Amendments will be effective immediately upon posting on our Website.
We have made every effort to draft these terms and conditions in plain English and to clarify any necessary clauses. If you do not understand these terms, please ask us for clarification.
The term 'Event' includes all workshops, retreats, Soul Food evenings, residential intensives, international tours, or any other arrangements hosted or facilitated by Almora Unlimited.
The terms 'Retreat' and 'Residential Event' refer specifically to our multi-day transformational intensives held at sacred locations in New Zealand.
The term 'Tour' refers to any international travel arrangement facilitated by Almora Beyond The Horizon.
The term 'Participant' refers to any individual who registers for, pays a deposit toward, or attends any Almora Event.
You are responsible for providing us with any information that may affect or compromise your experience at any event. This includes, but is not limited to:
The participant must ensure they are medically fit and able to participate safely in the event. If you are unsure, please consult your healthcare provider before registering.
Retreats & Residential Events
By registering for any Retreat or Residential Event, you confirm that you have some prior experience with meditation, healing processes, or self-reflective practices. These intensives build upon an existing foundation and are designed for those already familiar with inner work.
Retreats & Residential Events
Please read carefully: Our Retreats and Residential Events involve deep transformational work. This may include:
This is a normal and valuable part of the healing journey. Our facilitators are trained to hold a safe, compassionate space for whatever emerges.
All sessions are offered with respect for your free will. You may choose how deeply to engage. However, if you decide to step back, cease participating, or leave the event early, no refund will be available, as the retreat container is designed as a complete journey and your place has been held for you.
We expect participants at our events to maintain the confidentiality of other group members' experiences, sharing, and personal stories. What is shared in the circle stays in the circle.
Retreats & Residential Events
For Residential Events, participants share accommodation and living spaces. This is part of the process of living harmoniously as a group. Please be respectful of others' needs for rest, quiet, and personal space.
If your sleep patterns may disturb others (e.g., snoring, frequent waking, a different sleep schedule), please inform us in advance. We may suggest alternative accommodation at an additional cost.
You may not, without our prior written permission, in any form or by any means, solicit before, during, or after any Almora Unlimited event.
Solicitation is any activity that seeks to make contact with participants, collect information, sell items, or gain participant support or promote (themselves or others) for commercial purposes.
This policy applies to a wide range of activities, including advertising, selling, petitioning, campaigning, distributing flyers and business cards, and surveying participants by telephone, mail, e-mail, or in person.
