Soul Food – Lion's Gate : The Star That Purred Lyra & the Cat Frequency A Word from the Council: Our Guest Speaker
This month, we welcome a presence that does not often speak in human gatherings. Not because they are shy. Because their language is not words — it is frequency.
The Council of Lyra is a collective of feline-consciousness beings from the constellation of Lyra. In many star-seed traditions, Lyra is considered one of the original homes of humanoid, canine, and feline lineages — a place where soul families first learned to walk, to howl, to purr.
The Lyran Council does not roar. They hum — a frequency that feels like a purr in the bones, a vibration that bypasses the mind and lands directly in the heart.
They come now because the Lion's Gate Portal (opens on 29 July, peaks on August 8, and closes on 12 August) is a portal of immense energy — often experienced as intensity, overwhelm, or pressure to "become" something overnight. The Council of Lyra offers a different approach: sovereign gentleness.
They ask: "What if you entered the Lion's Gate not as a warrior, but as a cat — alert, relaxed, and utterly at home in your own skin?"
What Is the Lion's Gate
The Lion's Gate occurs each year when the Sun aligns with Sirius and the Earth (29 July - 12 August 2026), peaking around August 8. It is a powerful influx of light, often associated with:
-
Accelerated spiritual awakening
-
Sudden clarity or downloads
-
Heightened intuition
-
Also: fatigue, irritability, and the surfacing of old grief
For many, the Lion's Gate can feel like being pushed through a door before they are ready. The Lyran Council offers a prelude — four days of gentle recalibration so that when the gate opens, you are not knocked over. You step through.
How this helps you in your life:
-
You learn to receive high-frequency energy without burning out
-
You discover that protection can be soft (a purr, not a wall)
-
You remember that you have stellar ancestry — not to feel special, but to feel held
-
You give yourself permission to rest before the gate opens
Channeled Teaching: The Star That Purred
Not everyone has Lyran origins. But everyone has encountered Lyran energy somewhere in their soul's journey. The cat on your lap is not a coincidence. The way you feel calm near a purring body — that is a memory older than Earth.
The Lyran Council teaches that there are two kinds of power:
-
The power that roars — loud, visible, demanding attention. This is the energy of the lion.
-
The power that purrs — quiet, grounded, utterly assured. This is the energy of the cat.
Both are valid. But in a world that constantly asks you to roar — to perform, to achieve, to prove — the Council of Lyra invites you to remember the power of the purr.
Purring is not a weakness. It is frequency. It says: "I am here. I am not afraid. I do not need to announce myself."
This transmission is for anyone who is tired of performing. For anyone who needs permission to be powerful and soft. For anyone who has forgotten that rest is not laziness — it is recalibration.
Guided Meditation
You will be guided to lie down (or sit very still) and imagine a great star — blue-white, spinning slowly, ancient beyond measure. That star is Lyra.
From that star, a single beam of light travels across galaxies, past constellations you have never heard of, through the edge of the solar system, through Earth's atmosphere, and into the heart chakra of each participant.
In that beam, a cat appears. Not any cat you have known in this lifetime — but the first cat you ever loved in any lifetime. Perhaps a temple cat in Egypt. Perhaps a barn cat in a cold climate. Perhaps a star-cat you have no name for.
That cat curls up in your heart and begins to purr. The purr is not a sound. It is a vibration — one that recalibrates your energy field for the Lion's Gate opening four days later.
You will leave this meditation:
-
Softer in your chest (the hypervigilance begins to ease)
-
Clearer in your throat (you will find it easier to say "no" without guilt)
-
Aware of a gentle warmth behind your left ear (the Lyran frequency settling)
Transmission: The Lyran Council Speaks
"You have been waiting for the gate to open. We say: the gate is not a door to break down. It is a threshold to step through — when you are ready, not when the calendar says.
We are not here to give you more light. You already have more than enough. We are here to help you receive it — without burning, without bracing, without forgetting to rest.
In the four days between this gathering and the Lion's Gate, we ask only one thing: spend five minutes each day sitting quietly with a cat — your own, a friend's, or even watching a video of a cat purring. No meditation technique. No visualisation. Just be near the cat frequency.
That is the transmission. Not a teaching. A memory.
You have always known how to purr. You have simply forgotten. Let us remind you.
— Council of Lyra"
